At room temperature, it is a light yellow granular solid. When above the melting point, it is soluble in ethanol, ethyl acetate, toluene, and petroleum ether, insoluble in cold water, and can be dispersed in hot water to form an emulsion solution. Freezing point 45-47 ºC. It has properties such as emulsification, stability, dispersion, and defoaming, and belongs to the W/O type emulsifier with an HLB value of 6.7.
